Baseball Recap: Harmony Wins Going Away Against Forest

Harmony's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Forest Wildcats 8-2. Considering the Longhorns have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexavier Lebron tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Angel Medina was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Samuel Castillo was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Harmony's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Forest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

When Harmony and Forest next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Harmony will try to stop Montverde Academy's five-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harmony's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Forest's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Meanwhile, Forest will take on Trenton and their nine-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
