The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves's five-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They walked away with a 64-55 win over St. Pius X. With that victory, Worthington Kilbourne brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.
Te'mar Lewis was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Schutte, who scored six points.
Worthington Kilbourne's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for St. Pius X, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Worthington Kilbourne is on the road again on Friday and play against Franklin Heights at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Franklin Heights is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. St. Pius X will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Antonian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
