Millersburg entered their tilt with Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They escaped with a win against the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the WolfPack, too.

Millersburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Sass, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and seven boards. Sass is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Chase Romberger was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.

Millersburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy only racked up eight assists.

Despite the defeat, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Chase Luckovich posted eight points along with nine boards and six steals. Zach Cadman also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Millersburg's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Millersburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-45 loss against Pequea Valley on the 15th. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-49 win against Upper Dauphin Area on the 15th.
