The Foster Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 85-37 victory over Columbia. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Foster as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Foster got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Freeman out in front who scored 15 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Joshua Larkin was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten assists and six steals.
Foster's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Columbia, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-11.
Foster will take on Fort Bend Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Bend Marshall presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Foster in Texas (Fort Bend Marshall is ranked 19th, while Foster is ranked 859th). Columbia and Bay City will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bay City and Columbia are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
