Harrisburg has struggled against Cumberland Valley recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Nolan Buzalka was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds for Cumberland Valley. Buzalka set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Jared Dolimpio was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cumberland Valley, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Harrisburg will look to defend their home court on Friday against Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. Cumberland Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. Northeastern will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Cumberland Valley is ranked 17th).
