Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Spring Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Eagleville Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Spring Hill was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22.

Hazel Slusher paced Spring Hill's offense, picking up ten kills. Slusher got some help from Grace Kruer and her nine assists. Savannah Fulton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Eagleville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

Spring Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Warren County on the 20th. As for Eagleville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Franklin County on the 20th.
