The Falcon Christian Academy Warriors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Thomas Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
A well-balanced attack led Falcon Christian Academy over Heritage Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Falcon Christian Academy blew Heritage Christian Academy out of the water with a 82-46 final score. The win was just what Falcon Christian Academy needed coming off of a 88-64 defeat in their prior matchup.
Jordan McMillian was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with nine assists and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more assists the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dre Glenn, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Thomas Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past New Life Christian Academy 70-20 at home. Winning may never get old, but Thomas Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Falcon Christian Academy's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.21 points. As for Thomas Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Falcon Christian Academy against Thomas Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 75-28 victory.
