In what's become a running theme this season, Goshen gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Wilmington with a sharp 70-44 win. 70 seems to be a good number for Goshen as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Bray Settelmayer and Caden Zeinner were among the main playmakers for Goshen as the former scored 20 points along with three steals and the latter scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Settelmayer has scored all season. Conner Moore was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Harrison scored an imposing 63 points on Friday, Northwest still came out on top. Northwest came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison and snuck past 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Northwest has posted yet this season.
Goshen pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Goshen was able to grind out a solid victory over Northwest in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 53-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Goshen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
