Excel is 0-10 against T.R. Miller since February of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Excel's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over Monroe County. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Avery Duke made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alivia Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Meredith Lint was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI.
Excel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .926. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, T.R. Miller came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over W.S. Neal on Saturday.
Kate Rambach was excellent, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlee Reeves, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Excel's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for T.R. Miller, their victory bumped their record up to 12-17.
