The Westbury Christian Wildcats won against the Rosehill Christian Eagles last Tuesday with 81 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Westbury Christian blew past the Eagles 81-30 at home. Given Westbury Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Eagles are ranked 1215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jason Scott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Javien Cummings was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Westbury Christian pushed their record up to 17-14 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.2 points per game. As for Rosehill Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-20.
