First Colonial came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Tallwood Lions get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 back in April.

First Colonial's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Tallwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. First Colonial is set to take on their familiar foe Princess Anne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tallwood will challenge rival Kellam at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
