While Belleville East put up some  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Valmeyer. The Lancers put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp  10-0 win. Considering the Lancers have won five matches by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Grady Davis and  Tommy Kramkowski made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Davis   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Kramkowski   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  Davis a new career-high. At bat,  Davis  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Kramkowski  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Davis also  hit a  triple, marking his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Adam Smith was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Jalen Jones, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Belleville East was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Belleville East is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Valmeyer,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-6.
 Coming up, Belleville East will take on Oakville at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Valmeyer, they will square off against Sparta at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
