The NSU University Sharks are on the road again on Friday and play against the Legacy Charter Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. NSU University has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 915 points over their last 12 matchups.
On Thursday, NSU University earned a 61-52 win over Lake Howell. Given NSU University's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Lake Howell is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anthony Ferrer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points. The match was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Granville, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Legacy Charter came up short against Colonial on Thursday and fell 61-48.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Tyler Smith, who scored eight points along with four steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden Richmond was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
NSU University's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Legacy Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
