The Forestview Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Huss Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Forestview is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Forestview ended up a good deal behind Kings Mountain and lost 41-23. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 61st).
Even if they lost, Forestview's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Jamarius Durham was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huss). They put the hurt on Stuart W. Cramer with a sharp 46-21 victory on Thursday.
Javarion Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 173 yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Huss was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.

Forestview's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Huss, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
