On Friday, Kouts came up short against Rochester and fell 42-35. Kouts has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rochester can attribute much of their success to Ella McCarter, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Field, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Kouts' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Rochester, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
Kouts will head out on the road to face off against Wheeler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Wheeler is ranked 310th, while Kouts is ranked 316th). Rochester is on the road again on Friday and play against North White at 6:30 p.m. on December 29th. North White comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
