Georgetown suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 63-26 defeat at the hands of Dillon. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Georgetown has suffered against Dillon since February 17, 2020.
Waccamaw posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Manning 63-39. Waccamaw pushed the score to 48-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Manning cut but never quite recovered from.
Georgetown dropped their record down to 2-17 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Waccamaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.
Georgetown took a serious blow against Waccamaw in their previous meeting on January 10th, falling 48-8. Can Georgetown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
