Meanwhile, Hernando unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisburg. Hernando has not had much luck with Lewisburg recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Hernando had strong showings from Fran Kelly, who scored 20 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds, and Jaliyah Kelly, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Kelly scored a full 43.5% of Hernando's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Center Hill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.33 points. As for Hernando, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
