Twin Lakes hasn't had much luck against Logansport recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Indians will welcome the Berries at 5:00 p.m. Twin Lakes will be strutting in after a victory while Logansport will be coming in after a loss.
Twin Lakes will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against North Newton on Monday. The Indians put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 15-1 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Carson Wagner and Trae Haworth made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Wagner tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Haworth tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Wagner has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Wagner went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Haworth went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Haworth a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cooper Dold and Austin Robertson did most of the damage at the plate: Dold went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Robertson went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits Dold has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Keaton Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Logansport came up short against Lafayette Central Catholic on Saturday and fell 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Berries in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.
Logansport also got a good showing from Josh Middleton, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Middleton has allowed since back in May of 2024.
At the plate, Deagan Kitchel was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
Twin Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Logansport, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.
Twin Lakes beat Logansport 5-1 in their previous meeting on May 3rd. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Berries turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
