The Bishop Montgomery Knights will face off against the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Montgomery's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Bishop Montgomery is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Serra a 23-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Madeline Chambers made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Macey Kim and Brooke Patterson dominated on the mound. Kim went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs, while Patterson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Patterson posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February.
Back at the plate, Grace Garciaparra was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bailey Solheim, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Bishop Montgomery hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary didn't have quite enough to beat Mary Star of the Sea on Thursday and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by just one run.
Bishop Montgomery pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
