After two games on the road, Lincoln is heading back home. They will host the James Lick Comets  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 8.5  points per game  this season, so James Lick's offense will have their work cut out for them.
 Last Thursday, Lincoln got the win against Pioneer  by a conclusive  26-6. Considering the Lions have won three contests by more than 19  points this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Cecile Giguere, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Giguere didn't just play on offense: he also picked up  a  sack and made three total tackles. Another signal caller making a difference was  Aislin Seaton, who threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
 Lincoln's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as  Olivia Fuentes-Munez,  True Henley,  and  Henley picked up one apiece.
 Meanwhile, James Lick had to endure  an  eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Piedmont Hills with  a  12-7 victory on Thursday. The Comets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Lincoln pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for James Lick, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 Lincoln strolled past James Lick in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 by a score of  25-6. Will Lincoln repeat their success,  or does  James Lick have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
