The Prince of Peace Eagles lost against the Brook Hill Guard back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Prince of Peace took a 59-44 bruising from the Guard. Prince of Peace has not had much luck with the Guard recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Brook Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karmen Miller out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Hill, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
Prince of Peace's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Brook Hill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prince of Peace will take on the Mustangs at TBD on Saturday. As for Brook Hill, they will be playing at home against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. All Saints Episcopal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1140th, while the Guard are ranked 541st).
