Another player making a difference was Jp Sowell, who scored 19 points along with six steals.
Southwest Georgia STEM Charter's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Southwest Georgia STEM Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pataula Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Abbeville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ezekiel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Ezekiel Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Abbeville Christian Academy is ranked 138th).
