The Southold Settlers will head out on the road to take on the Bridgehampton Killer Bees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southold is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Two weeks ago, Southold came up short against the Knights and fell 59-51.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bridgehampton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Smithtown Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Southold's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bridgehampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Southold ended up a good deal behind the Killer Bees in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 71-54. Can Southold avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
