Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Moorpark Musketeers walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Yellowjackets on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Moorpark sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Moorpark is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7-3 record this season. As for Oxnard, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7-2.
Moorpark has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Palmdale on February 9th. One thing working in Palmdale's favor is that they have posted big goal totals in their last three contests. Oxnard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
