After losing to Liberty the last time they met, Kerman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kerman Lions walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Liberty Hawks on Friday.

Steven Luna was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jaeden Roberts was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Kerman's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kerman will be taking part in a tournament against Justin Garza at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kerman is facing Justin Garza at the right time seeing as Justin Garza is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will take on Clovis East in a tournament on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Liberty 3, Clovis East 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
