Terry came tearing into Monday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Raymond Rangers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Charlie Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Daviun Gibson was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Caleb Edwards also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Terry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Terry's record now sits at 8-3. As for Raymond, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terry will take on West Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raymond, they will challenge Richland at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
