The Zanesville Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northridge. Zanesville has struggled against Northridge recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Zanesville had strong showings from Rashaud Hampton, who scored 16 points, and Mikey Johnson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Hampton set a new season high mark in steals with two.
Zanesville struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Zanesville bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
