Last Friday, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood faced Ray/Powers Lake in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 26-27 to Ray/Powers Lake. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood got a solid performance out of junior Nate Beha, who accumulated 209 passing yards and punched in 2 rushing TDs; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Beha has been a consistent playmaker for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against Ray/Powers Lake, Divide County were happy to find some success. Everything went Divide County's way against Tioga as they made off with a 46-12 victory. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Divide County's flat performance the game before.
Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Divide County 68-22. Will Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood repeat their success, or does Divide County have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
