Softball Recap: East St. John Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

East St. John barely beat Crescent City Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The East St. John Wildcats were the clear victor by a 24-3 margin over the Crescent City Christian Pioneers on Wednesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 12 runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for East St. John, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 16.3 runs. As for Crescent City Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, East St. John will face off against Phoenix at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. East St. John knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Phoenix likes a good challenge. As for Crescent City Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Riverside Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
