Rowe came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas as they made off with a 10-2 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Matthew Garza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Miguel Soto, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was JC Garza Jr., who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Rowe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matches.

Rowe's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rowe and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Diamondbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Javelinas will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th.
