Lake Brantley and Lake Howell are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Patriots will host the Silverhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Brantley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
On Tuesday, Lake Brantley earned a 3-1 win over Seminole.

Lake Brantley found their leader in sophomore Kaliel Caraballo, who had four digs and two aces. Caraballo also set a new season-high mark in assists with 30. Amal Battiata also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
Lake Brantley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last nine games.
Meanwhile, Lake Howell faced Horizon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Silverhawks put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Silverhawks.
Lake Howell never let Horizon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.
Lake Howell pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lake Brantley, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3.
Lake Brantley came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Howell when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Silverhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
