The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Paddock, who scored two points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Wabasha-Kellogg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. This was only their 12th loss (out of 14 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
In what's become a running theme this season, Plainview-Elgin-Millville gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Kenyon-Wanamingo as Plainview-Elgin-Millville made off with a 64-42 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Plainview-Elgin-Millville.
Wabasha-Kellogg's defeat was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
Wabasha-Kellogg was dealt a bruising 71-21 defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Wabasha-Kellogg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
