Cecava went 8-for-11 to rack up 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Martinez went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Cecava continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Sebastian Dennis was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.
Zapata's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Calallen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.
