A Season-Best Performance from Jett Walker Leads Georgetown over Rouse
On Thursday, Georgetown got the W thanks in part to Jett Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Even if Glenn couldn't beat Lake Belton on Friday, underclassman Evan Blair still had a big game. Blair was dynamite, rushing for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Glenn is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Blair and Glenn will stay at home for another week and welcome Cedar Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Leander Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Garrett Peitz
Leander picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Garrett Peitz. Peitz was unstoppable, picking up five receiving yards.
On the season, Peitz has averaged 30.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.33 receiving yards per game.

Ty Blair's Big Game Can't Quite Lead East View over Cedar Park
Ty Blair posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 115 yards on only 14 carries. He has become a key player for East View: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.
East View's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. Blair and East View will venture away from home to challenge Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
