Lafayette County was led to victory by Andrew Mack and Zhyqkis Jackson. Mack scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Jackson scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The game was Jackson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ty Palermo was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Columbia Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season. As for Lafayette County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Columbia Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Stephens at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stephens is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Lafayette County, they will head out on the road to face off against Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
