Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westside). They took down the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds 75-61 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on five straight.

Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylen Mitchell, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Hyde, who scored 17 points.

KIPP Bold City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jabari Green, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayland Byirt, who put up ten points and seven rebounds.

Westside now has a winning record of 7-6. As for KIPP Bold City, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-52 win against Laurens on the 27th. As for KIPP Bold City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-59 defeat against Mandarin on the 27th.
