The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 54-16 victory over Oakwood. The result was nothing new for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, who have now won six games by 24 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Stevenson, who threw for 379 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt. Stevenson is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chaz Dubois, who picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.9 points per game. As for Oakwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will head out on the road to face off against Farmington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oakwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
