Make it nine blowout wins for the Butler Bulldogs this season. They put the hurt on Laney with a sharp  58-33 victory on Friday. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  25-5.
 Butler was led to victory by  Kam Gresham and  Taylor Kelly.  Gresham  scored 15 points along with eight  rebounds, while  Kelly  almost  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and nine  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Gresham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Brayla Harris, who  scored 11 points along with five  assists.
 Butler is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Laney, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-13.
 Butler will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Westside is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Laney, they will head out on the road to  face off against  the Golden Hawks at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Washington County focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up ten on Friday.
