Xavier Hayward Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Friday, Southeast Halifax got the W thanks in part to  Xavier Hayward playing the best football he has all season. Hayward picked up  four  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made 15 total tackles (7.0 for loss).
 If history really does repeat itself,  Hayward might just drop another big game when he faces off against Wilson Prep on Friday. Hayward picked up  three  sacks and made 23 total tackles (5.0 for loss) the last time he and the Tigers duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Big Game from Johnson As Southeast Halifax Won 26-8
  Cameron Johnson posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He picked up  a  sack, forced a fumble,  and made 22 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
 If history really does repeat itself,  Johnson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Wilson Prep on Friday. Johnson picked up  a  sack and made 23 total tackles the last time he and the Tigers duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Clinton Mills Has Career Rushing Day
  Clinton Mills posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. As a matter of fact,  he produced his best game of the campaign : he made five total tackles and defended three passes. He also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Southeast Halifax is 4-2 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
 On the season,  Mills  has averaged 2.1 total tackles per game  and for the season has 2  interceptions.

Wilson Prep Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to  Ethan Nelson
  Ethan Nelson was instrumental in extending Wilson Prep's winning streak to five on Friday. Warren County had no answer to  Nelson  as he rushed for 132 yards on only seven carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards. Nelson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Nelson is probably looking forward to his next game, a  road matchup against Rocky Mount Prep on Friday. When  Nelson last faced the Jaguars  back in October of 2023, he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Wilson Prep Gets a Boost from Hamm in  46-26  Win
 Wilson Prep picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Jordan Hamm. Hamm was dynamite, picking up  two  sacks and making 11 total tackles. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
 This season,  Hamm  has averaged 9.1 total tackles per game  and for the season has 11 sacks.
