Brighton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Webster Schroeder Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Brighton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 437th, while Webster Schroeder is ranked 164th).
Even though Gates Chili scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Brighton still came out on top. Brighton walked away with a 67-55 victory over Gates Chili.
Meanwhile, Webster Schroeder pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Spencerport by a score of 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Webster Schroeder has suffered yet this season.
Brighton's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Webster Schroeder, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Brighton took a serious blow against Webster Schroeder when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 81-48. Can Brighton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
