The Beachwood Bison's's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They managed a 46-40 victory over Fairview. The win was just what Beachwood needed coming off of a 46-14 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beachwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lexi Jaffe, who scored 18 points along with 5 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jaffe has scored at least 25% of Beachwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Goldi Aschkenasy, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Beachwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Brooklyn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairview will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Independence at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Independence will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 557th, while Fairview is ranked 157th).
