The Lassiter Trojans entered their tilt with the Fellowship Christian Paladins with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. Lassiter strolled past Fellowship Christian with  points to spare on Saturday, taking the game  51-37. That's another feather in the cap for Lassiter, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Lassiter found their leader in underclassman  Claire Mackenny, who  dropped  a double-double on 23 points and ten  rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malia Loadwick, who  scored eight points along with nine  rebounds.
 Lassiter is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Fellowship Christian, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lassiter will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Johns Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on January 5, 2024. Fellowship Christian will be home for the holidays to greet  Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Fellowship Christian is ranked 171st).
