The Frenchtown Broncs will take on the Fergus Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fergus will be up against a hot Frenchtown team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Broncs simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Stevensville 49-8. The Broncs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Cole Johnson produced another solid performance rushing for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jordan Warner made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Johnson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Frenchtown's defense stepped up as well, laying out Luca Schmidt 3.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Ryan Walls, Gabe Moore, and Henry Griffin, who each picked up one sack apiece. Warner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Fergus rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 35-13 victory. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Fergus' win came from a few key players Frenchtown will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Madden Norslien, who picked up 183 receiving yards and three TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. McKay Shobe was another key player, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes.

Frenchtown's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Fergus, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Frenchtown has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 197.1 rushing yards per game.
