West Charlotte is 9-1 against Harding University since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Charlotte Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Harding University Rams at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, West Charlotte suffered a rough 51-31 loss at the hands of Hough. West Charlotte has struggled against Hough recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Paige Bowman, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tionna Galloway, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Harding University's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 68-49 bruising from Chambers.
West Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Harding University, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
West Charlotte strolled past Harding University in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 59-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Charlotte since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
