Bluffton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Arcadia Redskins a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Pirates have won six games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Quinn Eachus made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Luke Jebsen was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landen Worcester, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bluffton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bluffton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Arcadia, they moved to 7-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Bluffton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Redskins: the pair will be back at it again later today.
