Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Cheyenne/Reydon's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by Seiling 85-57. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cheyenne/Reydon in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Cheyenne/Reydon had strong showings from Emma Bogges, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Kynli Carlson, who scored 14 points. Bogges has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Miranda Allen, who scored six points along with three steals.
Sweetwater has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
