The Wendover Wildcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over Intermountain Christian. Considering Wendover has won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Wendover's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gaby Delgadillo, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Delgadillo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Millie Hicks was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Wendover's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Intermountain Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Wendover will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Intermountain Christian is on the road again on Saturday and play against Wells at 11:00 a.m. on December 9th. Wells' defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Intermountain Christian's offense will have their work cut out for Intermountain Christian.
