A Season-Best Effort from Zay Stephens Leads Sheridan over Catholic
Sadly, Zay Stephens posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Sheridan over Catholic on Friday. Stephens' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.
Sheridan is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Stephens and Sheridan are taking a road trip to take on Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Catholic Gets a Boost from England in 51-48 Win
Jackson England was instrumental in extending Catholic's winning streak to seven on Friday. Sheridan had no answer to England as he threw for 252 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards.
If the past is any indication, England could be in store for another big game when he takes on Benton on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time England saw the Panthers), he threw for 437 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt.

Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Hayden Roaf. Roaf turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 53 yards.
For the season, Roaf has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 50.7 receiving yards per game.
