The Revere Patriots will face off against the Lynn English Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lynn English took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Revere, who comes in off a win.
Revere took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Lynn Classical, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Patriots' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rams a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The game was the first time the Patriots have beaten the Rams on their field since April 27, 2022.

George Papalambros
The result came thanks to George Papalambros's shutout, as he gave up just four hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Revere is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-3 otherwise.
At the plate, Revere's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Domenic Bellia, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Bellia is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, Lynn English was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Medford. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since May 15, 2024.
Lynn English's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Revere, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Revere has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lynn English struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Revere beat Lynn English 6-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
