Meanwhile, The Village School of Naples waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Gators get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.
EJ Murphy made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Donahue Catholic has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like The Village School of Naples struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
